First of all the fans. Yes, he makes noises that are, however, only to hear me, when the sound is off, and I make sure. The subwoofer, in the most technology and thus the ventilation is obstructed, is with me on the floor (laminate). Perhaps some noise sensitive Rezensoren should check the location or consider that the equipment that you have purchased is faulty. I must, however, wonder a bit about the group dynamics in the assessment, because after initial very good reviews that also earned the system in my opinion, all pounce on the fan. The plant on the fan must be reduced then too little.
Now the plant:
I bought the home theater system with a 55 inch LED TV to the D-series of Samsung and am excited about the interaction. Anynet + BD Wise and work great. The installation of the basic functions, including Internet was easy. The system I've tried with DVD and Blue-ray and have to say that especially 3D in combination with the Samsung TV really is the hammer. The picture is so clear that you only have to get used to it. Overall, genuine cinema feeling.
In my view, the sound is also really good and you have to take into account that it is a 2.1 system, which of course may not sound like a thoroughbred 5.1 or 7.1 system (I can compare, because I had previously 5.1). But what comes out of there is nearly surround sound that impresses. For me it was important that the number of speakers is limited. In particular, I did not have back Rear Speaker on the wall. That's why I decided consciously for a 2.1 system. The "musical properties" of the plant are good. I have tried with my CD and iPhone (would be nice if the iPhone Dock would be white instead of black) and the radio is on all day. The 15 presets for radio is sufficient. Is really good that the system is connected with an HDMI cable with ARC return channel to the TV. That works perfectly and the sound from the TV to the facility is also good.
A recommendation to buy or not to buy:
A home theater system with relatively small speakers can not replace quality stereo or multichannel sound system with corresponding boxes. So if you often sit quietly in a chair and listening to classical music, this system should not buy (you really can hear the fan in the quiet passages). However, if a home theater system with good sound in every "life situation" seeks, is so well advised, especially if this is connected to a Samsung LED TV to the D-series.
The design is unusual but elegant. So if you would like to have are not "Monster Boxes" in the apartment and the design may, should consider the purchase of the plant into consideration.
Although I could not test all possibilities of the system, but still of me 5 stars, since I am fully satisfied with what I have heard and seen so far.
