What I do not like so much, that the HDMI output always delivers a 1080p signal, even if a setter delivers 720p. But that is purely subjective because I want to run a projector to the HDMI output, which unfortunately only 720p. About the system switched, so I never get an image and must connect the player separately.
As a 2.1 system although there is a decent sound, but you should plan with additional speakers mE necessarily even a supplement, since many otherwise sound options are not adjustable. Currently I run it as a 4.1 system - with 2 Canton speakers as front speakers and the supplied boxes registered as surround speakers - without center.
The Center I miss not really, but that is again a subjective sense of hearing.
Upgraded the system is recommended - especially if you do not want to stand around a "real" AV receiver.
