I chuckled a few times before the apology (let's be honest) completely stupid and sometimes childish.
Patrice Romain gets here with great humor the beads that have been able to receive the teachers when they had the misfortune to punish, to ask a word of absence to children. The excuses are just as incongruous as sometimes unwelcome. Some are very raw and quite savvy or lack of respect for some cases. Professor job is not always easy, but at least these little words can also cheer them up (or not) in some cases for several seconds.
I must say that I am both amused and shocked at what I read. Some parents threaten to call the academy because the master or mistress gave a justified punishment for their child. Or complain about the negative feedback regarding their difficulties in French, while they themselves make tons. It becomes almost unreadable.
But I must admit that sometimes, the gueulantes are well justified. In fact, reading this book, I plunged myself in my studies, and most of the facts emerged. Sometimes the excuses are so funny and unexpected that we thought, "why there is no thought earlier, when we were running? "(As for acute flemmingite, for example. I admit, yes, I have often had this symptom, but whether a parent who noted in a word ... For I know that my mother had been very clear. In any stupidity that I will do, I will assume completely and she would not go defend myself facing the teachers. So maybe I'll be hard, but I do not understand how parents can advocate hitting children , insult, annoy other continually. There, I admit that I stand fully on the side of instits, and that parents defend their children is not possible.
But I must say that reading this book completely relaxes us and makes us spend some quality time. I can not count the times I laughed, chuckling (and almost spit the water I was drinking, yes, yes). For those who want to spend a moment of laughter, remembering their school times, this book is for you. I promise that you will not leave sad, on the contrary! I would have you well put excerpts, but they are all so good that it's hard to make a choice!
