I bought this because I Site Radio MAKITA DHP456 RMWX 18V Cordless Hammer 2 x 4.0 Ah Set possess, and the radio can also use these batteries. The radio makes a good but not outstanding sound. Positive is that it's still game for more than 10 hours with the 4 AH battery. Technically I would have preferred (270) Bosch GML50. But since I already the Makita batteries, I decided for the clearly priced Makita (139). Negative also compared to Bosch - Batteries are not loaded in the machine. - No power sockets on the device - IPhone is unprotected on the device. Especially when working for me a great disadvantage. - Unfortunately, current Apple devices can only be used with an adapter. - No DAB in the iPhone version Positive - Relatively cheap - Long battery life. - Sturdy and well made. The radio is for the price but okay just not outstanding. From my perspective, Makita should revise the product, then I would also be willing to pay significantly more. The three star there because the radio has found me in the workshop or in the garden to be firmly and faithfully doing his duty. Who is expected no marvel for 139 well served with these solid Radio.
