The collection "land of France" has accustomed us to much better. The author misses about it because for me it has nothing of a romance novel of the soil and is more like a sentimental novel. I fully agree with the criticism of "Mathilda", the early promises much but -page after page- you get bored. The character of Apollonia is endearing but really lacks depth, the secondary characters are uninteresting them. Any personal conclusion: sentimental novel whose end is worthy of collection "Harlequin". I'll forget this reading very quickly!
