Fun - improvements but still possible

I changed a few weeks ago from a mirror reflection of the OM-D. Granted - there is no rational reason for this. Even my DSLR, a Sony A55, had a good image quality and was quite fast but the OM-D makes the use but more fun. Why?

It's really fast. The autofocus is fixed, if not to my mind even faster than my old DSLR. The continuous shooting speed is also very good - very important to me, as I often my adolescent fotographiere in football.

Feel and look: I like the look and it sums up well to. The battery grip is recommended and that's what I like. For hiking I can slim down, so to speak (no handle), if I do not have to carry long, I can handle the turn building and operation is again grip.

Image quality: Well, since I can not have much to say. I do not Vermesse but the pictures are just fine.

The kit lens is good for my needs, but I have already extended upwards and stores. The ability to zoom electrically is very good, although by the manual zoom is not as pleasant haptic, like a zoom without potential engine support. I've tried so far only a few times the macro function, but I liked it well.

The touch screen is quite handy for me but not really important. It would just as well without.

The electronic viewfinder is really excellent - much better than my A55. The possibilities are great. It starts when you display a spirit level and ends with the viewfinder magnifier on.

The image stabilizer also works very well. You can configure it, that he has been working at half-pressed shutter button. As you can quite clearly see the result.

The video quality is passable. I tried it a few times in football across the field, the AF is not really fail. For more static things but it is quite useful.

The two configurable adjuster are very convenient for semi automatics. Since I also use the manual mode again, that I choose the aperture and let the camera ago and about the Auto ISO work.

The art filters like also, one should not exaggerate, however.

What I do not like? Two things: The external flash. That's annoying, also you have to first remove some covers. This is very fiddly and such small parts also tend to disappear somewhere. The flash as such is good for nothing. What I miss is also a built-in GPS.

Conclusion: A - also in the literal sense - beautiful camera. For the largely useless flash and the fiddly covers I subtract one point.
