I know for many years and Omnipage was now looking forward to the new version 19, referred to her character as "Omnipage Ultimate". The installation on a computer windiws 7 went smoothly. And after I then dispensed out the various additional installations of additional software as PDF Create, Cloud Connector, RealSpeak Solo modules or Vocolizer Expressive, I was able to get started quickly. The software works fast and well. Additional functions allow the user to optimize recurring workflows and thus help to save time. There are now even with Omnipage a function with which you can import and convert voice files (mp3). A nice gimmick, but what the user really needs it? The cloud feature is quite nice but not really important to me. The same applies to the "Docu Direct" function, with which one can appeal to other scanners in its own Microsoft Network. A feature that is also quite meaningless to the consumer market. Detecting and scanning of texts makes OmniPage well - as it has done ever. And that is ultimately yes also. All the "additions" are in my opinion not very effective, except here "Launchpad" for optimizing workflows is just great - and brings everyone a step further to its perfect time management. All in all a - as ever - class text recognition software that one has quite unnecessarily inflated with various additions in my opinion, in scope and especially price.
