Miss Mackenzie (Paperback)

Customer Review

Nice find, I do not know anything this author I so based on the reviews that are glowing, and I was not disappointed.
Margaret Mackenzie is an old girl abandoned by her family and has spent his youth mainly to care for her sick and embittered brother.
Youth is also behind when his brother dies Margaret approaching 35 years, the company is an old maid without interest.
But things change when his brother curiously leaves his fortune to the detriment of their eldest brother, the contenders are flocked hurry as each other.
Miss Mackenzie, who until then was considered a quiet and naive woman will be the sulfide and when the clairvoyant reading more than ever, this is how Margaret decides to take his hand life and take time to choose a suitable husband but how to choose when most did not seem as interested in his fortune, what choice does it make between his cousin who does not hide his motives and is overwhelmed by financial problems, a churchman (a pastor) who made it a quick court but in the long teeth and the friend of his brother who calls him money to save his shop ...
A beautiful Miss Mackenzie social satire surprised me so I found cleared at the beginning of the novel that I wondered how she would get out of this situation and I must say that Margaret was the spread and that a woman stronger than it seems finally it will draw its pin from the play.
A great read for me.
