The Denon and Yamaha have not taken despite some good features due to their housing into consideration.
Only I chose for this amp, because my boxes and others (Klipsch RP-160M) should work best with the Harman Kardon, Harman Kardon as the Recommended 6/8 Ohm speakers supported. In contrast, other above manufacturers recommend max 6 ohm speakers, which could lead to Geräuschverlussten may. I use the amplifier as only a fraction of only two boxes, not 7.1 system.
In summary, a few points:
- I take very much like Bluetooth connectivity, but unfortunately there is no separate button on the remote control, as there are for other Anbindungsmöglichkieten like (TV, Cable, AUX, etc.)
-. The description regarding network connection is somewhat misleading in the Internet. It is simply just about the cable connection, not to WIFI. The WIFI connection for example, would practically to AirPlay function of the Harman Kardon to use fully.
- If the network connection (ie power cord) is used (in conjunction with AirPlay) is suddenly the volume on MAX! set. A shock followed.
- Harman Kardon is visually very simple. What more disturbing is the relatively cheap-looking plastic production of keys.
+ Unlike some other amplifiers, you can operate the Harman Kardon also without remote control.
+ Simple housing.
+ Easy to use (after the speakers have been correctly set)
+ Many connectivity options (Bluetooth - very handy; TV via HDMI - for example if the TV is switched on, the amplifier is switched on, a, and vice versa, when the TV is turned off;. IPod ... AirPlay has been tested only briefly.
+ Dimming of the display and the volume controller
+ Operation via the TV (ie via the connection via HDMI is also displayed on the TV Harman Kardon menu)
+ Harman Kardon is a little shorter than its competitors, determined to 5cm. So take good care of a not so deep TV bench.
Overall, the unit is really in order at this price point.
