A great DVD recorder

I bought this unit rather than "impulse purchase" - I had bought a new Panasonic TV and hoped for a better interaction with VIERA Link with my Panasonic DVD hard disk recorder as with my previous Sony device.
The recorder has exceeded completely fulfilled at least in the technical field or my desires: The playback of DVDs and JPEGs via the HDMI interface brings clearly better image quality than I was used to. The good news was that my wife was finally able to play an AVI video, which also almost DVD quality movie had - I could make no concessions. The Jukebox function of the recorder I tried, also works well, but will not be my preferred music solution.
Unlike some other commentators like us to program recordings via GUIDE. Super easy to use, something I had never experienced until then. This really is ease-of-use!
Problems gave me the Viera-Link protocol between recorder & TV. For some reason was not up and running. A long conversation with the technical hotline brought me no further. Only when I were retired my external cable box and used the built-in TV tuner cable suddenly snapped and the Viera Link. In this respect, I am completely satisfied today.
