What can I say?
The show is beyond reproach, but technically the whole is disappointing. WT wanted the material originally not publish because they were dissatisfied with the quality of what I hereby can also understand. The picture is still quite good. Whether i or p is completely irrelevant. I am a media designer and know that quality technically this is not a big difference. I stands for interlaced, meaning that the overall picture is divided into two fields (odd and even lines) and p (= progressive) just only frames are displayed. These are simply two different display methods that differ qualitatively little. Our television is also sent mainly in interlaced format to keep the Sendekapazitaet low by dividing the images. More important is the resolution and this corresponds to the standard FullHD. However, I noticed that the camera crew at "Elements" concert a broken camera with me had. On the left of the screen a pixel error has crept in the near Sharon's attitude that shows up now and then. No big deal, but a decent equipment could check something avoided.
Much worse is the dynamics Weak tone. Sure, the hall is simply very large and therefore very holm, but here the weaknesses lie rather in mastering. The space is as I said very well about and Sharon has become well-recorded, but there is a lack of bass guitars and that is the sticking point. So you just missed the pressure, bring the WT songs enhancements. In addition to the guitar but also the drums are a bit weak. After all, the orchestra can score as well as the space I find good job. On my 5.1 system Fanrufe and the beginning of video with sound are easily determined. Incomprehensible against me, why was set to highly compressed Dolby Digital sound. A less compressed DTS (Digital Theatre Systems) - soundtrack would have been more appropriate here, just because an orchestra needs a highly dynamic and this is better uncompressed advantage. There was probably save around space to squeeze two concerts on a disc can. Two different Discen or even just a concert, but in high quality, I would have preferred.
In the end I can rant so long, better I should probably also can not do, but a few decisions I just can not understand in terms of sound quality and you can hear even a layman.
That's why I give great concerts despite only 3/5 *
PS: The cardboard slipcase looks really high, but unfortunately the FSK sticker is placed on the box, as opposed to a packaging film. The result is that one can go along a little carton during breaks. Also not tragic, but I find something pretty stupid, because I like DVD cover enjoy in all its glory.
