Elbows "Live At Jodrell Bank" enchants and is musically and atmospherically one of the finest Liveaufalben, which has recently been incorporated in my extensive collection. Since Christmas I hear this album almost non-stop. The only drawback: The two CD's and the legendary Live DVD are still too few. I could listen and watch this band for hours. In the pouring rain the very likeable Guy Garvey has a back and rousing performance. The band, which is partially supported by pranks, delivers an equally great performance. The audience, which stands in the pouring rain, lets not spoil by the adverse weather conditions the mood. It's easy with just unbelievably good. The concert takes place near Manchester. The stage is right next to the radio telescope located there. Of this comes from a decisive and exciting effect for the concert. The setlist so provides a sort of "Best Of Elbow" in a great sound and picture quality. Especially intense is the mood of the songs "Grounds For Divoree" and "One Day Like This". In the latter song is a gigantic fireworks is ignited not only musically. Amplifies the accompanying music during the fireworks and support this grandiose and very melodic piece. (We recommend this song therefore on a large screen at New Year!) Elbow - Live at Jodrell Bank has taken in the middle of my musical heart and will probably accompany me during my remaining lifetime. Five stars is far too little for this grandiose live album. I can only everyone who soulful and intense rock music also likes recommend buying this book.
