A great tie!

Finally, we are stuck on ABUS PR2700. There is a previous model and the PR2600. This is basically almost identical to the PR2700. The decisive difference for us was that the PR2700 has an integrated cylinder protection of the cylinder from the outside and is also a hopefully safe lock cylinder fitted with VDS class-B.

I was uncertain whether I should install the bolt itself or to do so through an expert. Technically I'm not clumsy, but I've never done something like that and thought that if you have to make a hole in the door and then maybe slipping, you get the salad! :-)

With several security companies, we have caught up with us offers. All who sell us the latch as manufacturer price want (389.00). Of course, I do understand that smaller companies hardly gain it. But here at Amazon, I have to Manufacturer Price 150.00 already !!! saved. Also us the cheapest company has made an offer for the installation with Knapp 100.00. Thus I would be together almost exactly twice the going become. Amazon = 250.00 = 500.00 security company.

Therefore, the decision was clear. Installation I make myself and order on Amazon. With a saving of 50% Torch course I do not long.

To install:
It was not hard. The guidance is in the details. It requires a hole saw with a diameter of 51mm and a few drills for masonry (including a 10'er masonry bit to at least 18cm according to the description).
The latch I stopped inside the door lay the height festzu. Then measured the exact center and then once drilled with a wood drill. Thereafter placed the hole saw and drilled from the inside half and the other half from the outside.
