LEAVING TONIGHT: In this song it's all about a true story of a missing girl, who disappeared in a park in Toronto. The mysterious lyrics about this girl, the beautiful catchy melody, and the typical synth guitar sounds make this song to a brilliant krachigen opener and one of the absolute highlights of TBM. Really strong
DOWN: By far the heaviest song on the album. Begins with a nu metal guitar solo at a little reminiscent of Pins and Needles and then goes right back over in Chibis dreamy melodic vocals. As a real surprise, then turns Chibis Schreigsang of resumes parallel to the hard guitar sounds ..... so overall a very successful blend of emotional aggressiveness and dreamy harmony ... again awesome.
PLAY WITH FIRE: Maybe men absolute favorite song on the album. Play with Fire is a bit slower than the previous songs and baladesker but has an incredibly dense atmosphere .... maybe a bit grim but very lovely.
NEED: A song about obsession, the desire and the desire for another person. Has a very generous 80's flair, is very fast and very danceable. Chibi accomplishes in Need in my opinion, one of her best vocal performances, she sings with a lot of passion and feeling, which indeed fits perfectly with the theme of the song.
CALLING: The poppigste and catchiest song on the album, an already bem first time listening to catchy and very danceable. Calling I find personally not quite as awesome as the previous songs, to me the song is almost little too catchy. But nevertheless still better whatever we all get to hear on the radio a lot.
Alibis: The intro and the instrumentaliesierung reminds me a little of Lovers End of the Album Violet. Only this is not so bleak song. The chorus is again very successful and nice, and overall the song comes back a little slower but also more rock across as Calling.
ONE PROMISE: A really groovy good mood maker, danceable and again the chorus is very energetic. Especially the verses are very guitar-heavy rock and in this song.
THIS MOMENT: This is about the transience and the fear of death. The verses come back very over 80, and the chorus is again really nice melodic, somehow reminds me of a song by Evanesence .....
COVER MY EYES: A beautiful ballad, maybe one of the most fabulous songs have made the TBM .... very soft, what's not to everyone's liking, but definitely very nice, even by the great synth sounds in the chorus ..... ,
The Long Way Home: A very unusual song. Go immediately to the song over and then the chorus, and listen again so abruptly on as he has begun. With less than 2 minutes, the shortest comfortable singing song of TBM. But also very goosebumps exciting what's meant positively.
My Anspieltipps: Leaving Tonight, Down, Play with Fire, Need and Cover My Eyes.
