I Was kind of disappointed about this product. I've tried to connect a laptop HDD and a memory stick and every time I Was Trying to read / write something from / to the hard-drive, I Kept getting IO errors aussi ... I've Had the "great" idea of connecting two hard-drives to it and needless to say That none of them worked.
So UNLESS you use it to connect devices require That no (or very little) power, I do not recommend this product.
