I'm really sorry, but this historical novel is not really hectic for me ... if we try to read a novel about the Middle Ages, then this book is very interesting. But if one is looking for adventure, suspense etc., erred: the reactions of the characters are exaggerated, one feels that the author wanted to create suspense, but could not because we doubt many of the suite and sometimes we read a sentence at the end of paragraph that has absolutely nothing to do with the paragraph in question ... we feel that it is a means to revive the reader's attention (a sentence without detail, but important to the story; one is "forced" to read more for details), but for me it's not fine enough, it's too obvious, so it falls a bit flat ... Only curiosity leads me to finish it. However we learn many very interesting things about the Middle Ages.
