Finally, I leave a little disappointed. The novel begins in a very pleasant, although quite bombastic style of the author displease me somewhat, and we are surprised to empathy Esclarmonde. Unfortunately, the second part of the novel is quite poor: so the adventure story of his father holy land through the visions of the walled does not add much and I had the feeling that the author sought to fill its second part, for fear of making a too short novel. Similarly, thinking about the imprisonment of the young girl turns short, it's a shame, and in the end, save some fragments, the time is moderately well made (except for the vocabulary).
The final is full of emotion but certainly the overall impression remains very mixed. I really expected more.
