Even the entry into the album with the pre-release Supersoaker convinces. A beautiful hymn in, actually typical, Kings of Leon style of past albums with a dominierenten bassline. Fine.
After that comes with Rock City a southern blues number, while not really rocks, but bonded directly into the ear and there also remains once hang.
Do not Matter is somewhat reminiscent of older days King and the subsequent War ballad Beautiful is beautiful and knows primarily through Caleb's vocal convince.
The rest of the album comes as a unified whole. Whether Wait for Me that good again on only by the night would have fitted or Temple which in turn also has a place on older albums of guys could have found place. Failures afford the guys and not so Mechanical Bull shows all the nuances of the band.
So whether grand gesture with strings as the song comeback story or a little raw, especially vocally, like Tonight. Ultimately, all that Kings of Leon is at its best, of course, not as angry and demanding as ever.
But must it not, the band has long found their sound and Mechanical Bull is an upbeat and round return. Some critics will of course reflect thrashing, but this is a phenomenon by which all established bands have to accept.
I wanted only four stars awarded, but after I have really some passages behind me and the thing just fun then I pull up but five stars.
The fans of the first albums I still recommend advance reinzuhörn, the album is still streamed. I can put all others to purchase the plate really fond of, a beautiful thing
