On reading the summary, I mattendais a spicy story, exquisitely tinted dérotisme a strand sulphurous image of the Lady Rothburg manual but in the end the courtesan Lessons dune is primarily a classical romance, fun to read but missing dun " whatever "to become great. The characters are endearing, filled with humor and minded but a bit too smooth for us to take off stories of love and a little too classic, no real surprises to give us palpitions and chills of envy. At no time, no lon sennuie but does not overflow of enthusiasm so far. This is a pity because the dialogue between the two brothers to their club or two friends in the privacy of their boudoirs are really well written, sparkling, ironic and warm but we do not find that in couples scenes, in intimate moments. We feel quEmme Wildes bubbling of ideas but dare not go all end in his historical romances.
It is a romance to keep for rainy days, lazy days lon just want to have a good time years to take the lead or to complicate life. This is not bad, right?
