So we find our couple that tries somehow to overcome their points of stumbling blocks. But their differences are deeply rooted. Between Amery that tests the confidence of his men and has difficulty engaging, and Ronin is one to keep it all and be terribly authoritarian, one can be sure that the duo has not finished having difficulties.
Unfortunately, to achieve this, the author touches a little at ease and already seen. There are the mechanisms seen and reviewed many times in various novels touching a little romance (not talking about erotica). It's a shame because the characters and plot lose some flavor.
The good thing for me will remain the sister of Ronin, which is present here and will be a valuable support for Amery. We guess that the author will make a character more and more present and significant over the volumes, and what we see of his character here is enticing. Complex and fascinating, I would say.
In short, this tome 2 a too seen side for my taste that contrasts sharply with laspect original and "refreshing" the first volume. Also the erotic scenes are a little too raw and "beastly" to find favor in my eyes.
Finally, I probably read volume 3 which will cover Shiori and Knox.
