I use that stuff for years, so far always black metallic paints.
The first application is important that the car is thoroughly cleaned (washing, paint cleaners, clay, ...).
Then several layers LG apply (very thin !!!) and leave between layers ideally in the strong sun "cure".
From layer to layer, the wiping is easier (after application). And once you have a good foundation has created (4-5 layers), usually it is sufficient to create new layers to from 2x per year 1-2.
