The brightness is just gorgeous and felt twice as large as that of the Fenix LD22. The light beam is very wide and at maximum setting the range is extreme. For the same money you get nowhere flashlight.
The build quality is very stable and robust, but this manifests itself in weight. Operation is simple. For water resistance I can not say there is not yet tested.
Key benefits:
- The operation by means of commercial AA batteries! Who wants it brighter, must usually resort to special batteries. That's not the case here, which played a key role with me.
- The compact design: a not half as bright MAGLITE 2D Cell LED (standard version) is much larger and heavier. With four AA batteries still very compact.
- The lamp does not roll away.
- It can also flash briefly, by pressing any button completely and lock it so that will have to.
- Is very easy to hold.
Who does not compact lamp such as the Fenix LD22 searches (fits perfectly in a pocket inside pocket) runs here at an output of 10 EURO more clearly better and brighter. In comparison, is simply the price-performance ratio significantly better. For 70 EURO certainly not cheap lamp, but a "lamp for life".
The lamp gives the impression as she holds at least with occasional hobby use (geo-caching, DIY) the next year (tenth) s by. The included belt holster is also very useful and well made.
