(1) HOUSING AND PROCESSING
The Hero is in a rugged plastic housing that comes with a matte soft surface. The whole therefore feels very valuable and pleasant gently, without it being slippery like normal polycarbonate cover of the case. The build quality is top class, even when strong pressing there is no creaking, but also because of the fact that the battery cover is not removable. Thus, no removable battery is present. The included stylus fits perfectly into the case and sits down very firmly. That's how it should be! While this looks very colorful, chic and appealing, is however not matched well to the hardware. Consequence: It jerky here and there, albeit minimal. Mega liquid but it looks different. When it comes to multimedia, the Hero meets all expectations. The 13 MP camera shoots great, high-quality photos and offers various setting options. The only drawback here is that the smallest resolution as with many other current smartphones is still too big to go to share on Facebook or Whatsapp, since an image still takes at least 1 MB of memory. Those who have no powerful data plan, the lands rapidly in throttled GPRS snail's pace for the rest of the month. The music player is well designed and chic. However, you can feel here the great weakness of the missing micro SD slots. 13 GB memory are well dimensioned, but at a large music collection that is quickly depleted. Too bad! Nevertheless, the Hero can shine again in this discipline.
(4) Telephony and RECEPTION
The OT Hero is primarily a device for multimedia and Internet, but also such a large Smartlet or phablet must master the best discipline, namely telephones. The sound quality is everything in butter. Problem case is rather the reception, because although the housing thus accommodate a good antenna is so huge and there, the reception quality is rather in the lower average. Sure, the Alcatel OT Hero is a powerful, well austatteter chunks. The excellent facilities provides for multimedia fans as well as implement everything, and also for gamers to offer to the great screen. On the other hand, the performance is weakening because of the immaturity of the software and the reception is rather poor. Overall, the Hero is recommended for users who prefer a large display, use two SIM cards and want draufpacken no giant video or music library.
