I then acquired, inter alia, the Series 9:
The following aspects seem to me regarding Series 9 noteworthy.:
+ Quite good shaving performance with quadruple shaving head
+ Fast shave possible after some practice
+ Very gentle on the skin
+ Cleaning and disinfection by alcoholic cleaning solution
+ Quality haptics
+ Compared to Series 7 quieter
+ Fits comfortably in your hand
+ Better display as Series 7, Stand charge display
+ Improved cleaning station opposite Series 7
+ Cleaning opposite Series 7 faster (subjectively)
- Cleaning station bigger and bulkier, require more space
- Feel the station is no longer quite as good, piano black design on the surface is very easily to dust
- Quite expensive
- Razor relatively large and heavy
- Shaver head quite large, it needs some practice handling the face
I use also a Panasonic LF51, which I can also highly recommend.
Overall, the Panasonic shaved significantly smoother, more thorough and more sustainable.
By contrast the Braun Series 9 is still skin-friendly than the Panasonic.
On the other hand has the Series 9 through the cleaning station with disinfection and cleaning solution, which is in my view a Pluspuntk.
The Panasonic in turn is significantly lighter than the Braun Series. 9
All in all a recommendable device:
A gentle giant who shaved quite thoroughly (with potential for) and very gentle on the skin.
By altering the structure of the cleaning station the problem flaking paint as the Series 7 could possibly be solved - it seems to me as if the razor is not as far lapped by the alcohol solution as its predecessor the case.
If you buy the edition has with Braun travel alarm clock as much cost as the razor without. The alarm clock you can give my view however.
First you have to know that Brown was outgesourcet Clocks. Braun watches are now sold by Zeon Ltd., London.
Although the alarm clock has a very pleasant trip and a size interessantens minimalist design. Unfortunately, it is not practical: The alarm button for On / Off seat in Snooze Button. So if you just hit the big button in shock, may possibly simultaneously turn off the alarm. Not very practical.
