The classic of the three giants

It now must be about ten years ago, I visited a good friend for a concert evening in Graz. There was still some time until then, and so me a CD was played, which included one of the most peculiar concerts in the history of German songwriters of 20th and 21st century. Originally it was just a concert evening on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Hannes Wader, a concert which he played with his two musical companions Reinhard Mey and Konstantin Wecker in his hometown Bielefeld. Three artists united some of their songs to a truly unique spectacular stage program, which previously probably never been and will not even give as quickly in the near future. This evening concert was recorded live and was later in a limited CD edition on the market. Four years later, they dared to attempt a new edition, which was also sold out quickly.
And now this unique musical masterpiece comes again on CD and also the first time out as a download.

Some might ask yourself: Fair enough, some of these songs I've heard so many times, why would I do it again now? - It's not the songs alone. Each of the three bard sings not only contributes not only before but interprets each song with his instrument and his voice again, telling in its own way a tailored it to the body of history. In addition to some well-known songs of Reinhard Mey we hear numerous new written by Hannes Wader, and a new version of alarm clock Konstantin classic "Willy".
