Well, invited friends we tried time and again their Schuhbeck'sche hand grater, because to repeat my words to Microplane, often need only a little grated cheese, grated ginger or shell of eg citrus. Or that Parmesan is to be times just grated fresh at the table about the food or the ginger into the soup. These were and are for us since many days the main areas of application for such a brilliant, one might almost say ultra sharp hand-held rasp. And we are so pleased that 2 of these things - but under the name Microplane) - round off our budget. For larger amounts of rubbing;) we do not go far back to other helpers.
The quality features of this friction is virtually identical to that of Lurch:
+ Very good quality
+ Stainless
+ Sharp and keen to change
+ Directly after use and after soaking easy to clean (best known for "grater" side using a brush)
+ So far Dishwasher safe (I would however a grater, like a kitchen knife, never in a dishwasher clean)
+ Good and as far as non-slip grip
o anchor (and dissolved in Microplane better) the grater under control a bit poor
+ Price / performance good
... Recommended!
. Note (05/15):
Due to the response to a comment I looked at what is today, offered more than 5 years after my purchase to rubbing. Well, it seems as if the rubbing Schuhbeck'sche rather of "220140 RazorTech grater RT40" complies with the home Lurch)
Covered formerly lack pictures) that this is more or less a Microplane. Have in my new knowledge now "Microplane" in my review to "Lurch" replaced.
NB: I prefer the Microplane- the Schuhbeck / Lurch grater before still; However, I would "highly recommended!" my conclusion not change, because that deserves this grater here quite.
