The guidance is unreasonable, especially due to the print format. Without Lupe probably only people with very good eyes will deal with it. Fortunately, you can also download these on the Casio website in PDF format. Really well done, I find this but not content. So to me, even after studying the manual not clear why one can adjust the summer / winter time manually (or should?). Without radio receiver, this setting makes no sense - and wireless coverage If this should be automatically accurate.
To make matters worse, that the necessary for setting labels can be seen on the dial for me well only with a magnifying glass.
Nice though is that this model can receive different radio signals (US, Asia, Europe), but this (lt. Manual) probably only makes if you have previously selected the correct location. Of course, the clock can not know what time zone I'm in a radio transmitter. So is ultimately a manual selection inevitable. This could, however, at least be clearly designed user-friendly.
Also missing the 4 keys have a recognizable point of pressure.
Overall, I find the service a little counterintuitive. So settings are hardly possible without guidance and without corrective lenses for me, what the usability of the clock considerably restricts and at least cost you a star.
Taste things:
Although the dimensions of the clock are shown here correct at Amazon, it was me personally a bit too small.
In fact, it weighs just over 100g, which is really for the performance offered little. I would be an (almost) complete metal casing but significantly better than an almost complete plastic back.
Of course, I can not really judge the quality of the clock. On me the metal / Kunsstoffmix, the spongy pressure point and the humble manual makes no quality impression. I would like to take a little more weight in purchasing. This applies also for the bracelet, even if this (strictly speaking a bit too) long, at least enough for my wrist quite stronger. It was a kind of "tool" included, which allows you to shorten the bracelet by removing links. Seeing but not very promising and I have not tried it then.
Although the picture at Amazon corresponds to this model, so I was not thrilled by the actual appearance. This admittedly very subjective impression I can not explain in more detail as well.
But if I look at the images of this clock and a comparable Citizen Radio / Solar clock at Amazon, then as much as I really only small differences in details. But if I actually think both watches in their hands, the Casio least one class but comes across weaker.
So great technical equipment and so relatively low, the payback is -
the modest operating concept and the optical total have led me to (despite tremendous offer for 132 euros) not to keep this clock and back to send.
I'll probably still fall back on another Citizen clock when they cost also at least double the price.
