My review includes 3 parts:
1: The rating of the headphone itself
2: Overall conclusion to all my tested In Ears
3: representation of some peculiarities of In Ears (eg Seal, driver number, cable design and compatibility with Android / Apple).
Part 1 Review of the head higher:
+ Good workmanship
+ Many eartips
+ Adjustable Bass
+ Very good sound
+ Good comfort (size but could give some problems)
+ High load capacity
+ Square connector
+ - Price ok, but not a bargain
+ - Chic Case, but not functional for everyday life
-Easy (But thick) round cable
-Soll Water Vulnerable be (I could not test)
-Are There not with remote control / MIC
Many manufacturers are trying with several drivers in the small In Ears install, not Sennheiser. That's why I was curious to see if 1 driver models for a price of 200 are better than cheap versions and have more driver against competitors a chance. To make a long story short, for me the Sennheiser are sonically with the best. Very balanced and precise bass. In addition, the Sennheiser leaves in the bass strength of already heavily to adjust extremely strong. Personally, I find the default settings already more than adequate (and I'm a Bass Fan). But there are also a few negative aspects, so the cable is a simple round cable and knotted very quickly. Nor is there any model variant with remote control / MIC and the case is very complicated.
Overall, I think that the Sennheiser is not everyday headphones and more for music connoisseurs. Who, like me, is a lot and wants to head higher plugging often times is with the cable and the Case certainly be dissatisfied. The lack of remote control / MIC have me because this is still moving other models try.
Conclusion: Anyone can invest 200 for headphones and a remote control without / MIC, which I can Senn hoarse very ans Herlegen. As everyday headphones too expensive for much better quality compared to eg the 60 favorable Philips Fidelio.
Part 2 Gesamtfazit to all my tested In Ears:
In my view, In Ears particularly difficult to comparable since the fit can be crucial. Still, I think my ears are pretty average. To assess my statements may I first say something about my listening habits: Personally, I would describe myself as mainstream listeners rather than Audiophile, yet many headphones differ extremely in the sound / resolution / Bass and wear, which I often (sometimes very strong ) have noticed. Personally, I was looking for headphones for everyday use and continuous use. Aspects such as comfort, wear, noise isolation and knotting are important to me. Means I daily headphones in public transport use 2 hrs., On the bike 'Std. And partly during work up to about 4h. during the day.
The headphones were tested on my Galaxy S3 / laptop and partly due to an iPhone 5
My previous headphones were among others (by price in ascending order):
-Samsung Galaxy enclosed headphones
-iPhone enclosed headphones
-Creative EP630
-Denon AH C710
-Audéo PFE 012
-Shure SE215 / 535
And the newly tested (by price in ascending order)
-Marshall Headphones
Monster DNA
Monster diesel VEKTR
-Creative Aurvana
-Bose MIE2
- Philips S2BK / 00
-Sony XBA3iP
-Sennheiser IE80
My summary of recent years and my last test marathon leaves me on the following 3 circuits come:
1) Lower Price range (up to 30)
The enclosed headphones expensive smartphones or tablets are usually a disaster. Buying a cheap alternative is almost always worthwhile (even for less demanding users). In this price range there is much supply and it does not take long search to find an improvement. Personally, I can only recommend Creative EP630, which are fairly decent for the price.
2) Average nightly rate range (50-150)
In my estimation, it is worth it for all those who daily use In Ears to grab a little deeper into their pockets. The difference in headphones from 30 to 100 which can be very powerful. Not only in sound quality but also in the comfort, handling and noise isolation. For me, this price range is for alldiejenigen rangehen the price-conscious and do not necessarily call Audiophile. I can recommend here the Monster DNA the best all-rounder for me (but also a bit dull in the central region) and the Philips S2BK / 00th The latter are clearly in the central region and have for a little less bass. Also you should consider how important the feel is (valent metal housing and feeling cold or classic plastic housing but for no feeling cold).
3) Upper price range (200 and more)
Here I can recommend the sonically excellent Sennheiser IE80. Yet I do not think the higher price in the sound (opposite eg the Philips S2BK / 00) again. Maybe I'm not sensitive enough idiots for it and so I recommend only for highly ambitious music connoisseurs these headphones. But also the Westone 3 or 4 and the Logitech Ultimate Ears should be triple.fi10 or UE900 viewed with for this target group. Personally, I am very happy in the middle price range and did not want to invest more than 200.
Part 3 Technology and General:
Technology (In-Ear & Seal)
All In Ears are inserted into the ear canal (depending on the model far). With this pass lying pitfalls is attempting to make a proper fit. If an in-ear properly seated is called the Seal and only then can a headphones unfold its proper sound. Especially lower frequencies (bass) are affected. Unlike standing speakers or other headphones have a very small speaker in Ears and try the vibrations to be transmitted to the eardrum directly in the ear canal.
You can not get good results without proper sitting with a headset (in my estimation, this is also the reason why some headphones are evaluated very differently in some cases (in which one fits and the other not).
Technology (speakers)
In the In Ears is to produce a good sound with different designs / constructions tries. Classic here is the single speaker (= Driver), so a driver per side. Another method is more than one driver (up to 4) per headset. In order for the sounds to be better separated. From my experience, the use of more than one driver on paper latches better and seem to make 1 driver models to shame. But in practice, it can not confirm and 1 driver models may well shine and outdo more driver models for me. For example, the Sennheiser sound IE80 (1 driver) much better than the Sony XBA3iP (3 drivers).
Number of drivers does not imply the sound quality
Technology (cable)
The cable management latches only times unimportant, but the convenience is also related to the cable. Who, for example, rotates with the headphones bike track and the head much bothered by a hanging cable and would like it might have done over the ear. Another, very frequently the headphones can get in and out takes this would perhaps directly into the ear plug because the constant over the ear cause be annoying. Also, the cables vary considerably in thickness and shape. This could again be important for storage, because thin round cable tie fast unlike ribbon cable. But those who kept the head higher in a box and the cable wrapped this could perhaps be ignored.
Cable structure would think more important than one
Android / Apple or PC compatibility?
Some of headphones are sold specifically for Android or iPhone. Especially in relation to built remote control / microphone it could be interesting. Mittleiweile have all 3.5mm jack connections and therefore also fit into an MP3 player or Android phone, but in some cases distinguish the assignment of Positions / PINs. Consequently iPhone headphones with Android could not function. I am writing in part and could, because I have but the phenomena of the past know different experience on the Samsung Galaxy S3 / iPhone 5 made. In essence, I can use all the Apple headphones in Galaxy S3, even with microphone, and a part of the remote control (start / stop and next song Louder Softer not). Around another I could as the Bose MI2 not use the Android adapter (ton has extremely poor and MIC does not work). Without the adapter was all good (sound and MIC worked).
Statement Apple / Android compatible historical reasons today (Teilwiese) lapses
Forgery, but very often
If the headphones with you despite very good rating extremely bad sounds or the quality is very poor, it may be that you were a fake palmed. Even I did that happen at the Creative EP 630 and I have often read that in some other models. It comes with headphones probably remain relatively frequent. So I would be careful when headphones are offered very cheap and buy therefore exclusively at trusted merchants. My fake I got on eBay: /
