Yes, the ambition of this galactic cycle is fantastic, yes, the concept of psychohistory is interesting, but that's not enough, this is not enough to make a good novel Science-Fiction. Today it takes credibility and we must admit that the descriptions of the Galactic Empire are very light and give us the impression of being a theater set in the service of the plot and characters. Apart atomic miniaturization of the second foundation and spaceships, empire technology basically not much different from ours. Finally no one has ever rented Isaac Asimov for the quality of his characters or his intrigues ... very linear.
The fact remains that his books are very nice and very accessible.
Finally, a great author, unfortunately little known, took over the universe of Isaac Asimov and made ... a marvel, I advise you therefore warmly and with quavering voice Psychohistory at risk, Volume 1 and Psychohistory endangered, Volume 2.
