A milestone in the comic story

Batman: The Killing Joke (Hardcover)

Customer Review

Alan Moore shows once again his skills - The Killing Joke is one of the ultimate milestones of comic book history. Moore's story are the characters, especially the Joker, a previously unheard of depth.
Should they be familiar with the Batman films you will quickly discover that all good Batman movies have copied a lot in this comic.
Tim Burton speaks of this book to the skies, calls it "the first comic that [he] ever loved," and so can be found in his films many parallels to Killing Joke.
The Nolan brothers have obviously used just for The Dark Knight parts of Killing Joke. The theme that the Joker tries to korumpieren the mind of the most righteous citizens Gotham's to prove that in the end everything is just a mess, comes from this book. The other traits of the Joker, facial expressions, behaviors that make The Dark Knight so awesome, you will find in this book.

This version of the story is a newly edited by the subscriber himself highly variant. The colors, once added from another Illustrator, fit better to the atmosphere of the story than before, and some facial features were designed in detail. There are also very interesting preface and epilogue and an additional short story which was written and illustrated by the signatories of the original itself.
The cover of the book is you like especially - he makes a very sophisticated look, and sees in every bookcase excellent. Also, the envelope can be proud of.

So I recommend that you urgently to read this book if:
- You like Graphic Novels
- You like Batman
or
- You like brilliant knitted Stories that take us into the depths of human nature.

It should also be said that the story is quite short, even if you should deal with the very long artistic illustrations held at the highest level it hardly last more than two hours. In one hour it can read. You would think the price would be set a bit high for such a short reading fun, but once you are keeping this fantastic crafted edition in hands, you know that it is worth every penny.
