In pell-mell, it evokes his grandfather, a respected doctor, teacher at the university, which has never really bent face of threats, and has always exercised his profession with dignity. She tells us these memories that resurface after his grandfather dies the other side of the border, starting to join.
This first novel by Tea Obreht is rather special. Eaten without passion, it alternates very boring passages and small nuggets that turn the pages to a driving beat. If I most liked the tales linked to the Man who could not die, the rest of the story, in its contemporary notament part Assembly me confused and quite laborious, without much interest. Mixed novel therefore, but with enough quality not exploited enough that I tried, on occasion, a new test with a next novel.
