Apart from the two exceptions "Utopia" and "Oompa Radar" could this album as a beautiful cross between Ennio Morricone and Portishead (where Goldfrapp are indeed reluctant compared to zweiteren) describe. Who has the band by "Black Cherry" to know, will be surprised. The second album was a style rotation about 179 °! For me, the hit song "Utopia" was the main reason to be interested in Goldfrapp; soon, however, it was mainly songs like "Paper Bag", "Pilots" and the opener "Lovely Head", which brought the most intense to vibrate my heart valves.
