With ballads one is fortunately well supplied here. My favorites are "Easy Hearts" and "Under Your Breath". Here clearly shines already the brilliance of his later solo albums like "Heartbreaker", "Gold" or "Cold Roses" (the latter a double album, although with the Cardinals) by. Otherwise one has something the impression Ryan Adams is still a bit of style looking at what the album but does no harm. Nevertheless, "Paper Moon" and "Mirror Mirror" two songs that I could do without. This is however compensated by the other brilliant numbers again.
PS In "What the Devil wanted" I could have on the artificial cracking as like hearing an old vinyl, renounce personally. In an old vinyl you have the necessity to accept (rather have me there but also that without pops and crackling noises), but not on a CD!
