Successful "short-EP" with new fodder for Bryan Adams fans

Over 3 years, had the fans of Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams since excellent studio album "On a day like today," wait until they finally fresh food into the hands (or rather, in the ears) got: "Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron "is the name of the latest disc of the Master. However, one should not imagine a completely new studio work under the somewhat unwieldy title, because when Spirit is the soundtrack to the animated horses epic of DreamWorks Studios, which in combination of Adams with the German Hollywood composers Hanz room was set to music. All mixed into a handful of new songs, which go well in the usual Adams qualities the ear and do not suffer too much from the narrow concept of "freedom in the Wild West." The single "Here I am" is a nice up-tempo piece with a good riff and melody eingängier. Of course, with up-tempo not Firecracker level of the 80's and early 90's meant and the intensity of his former film soundtracks such as "I do it for you" or "Have you ever really loved a woman?" is not reached, but "Here I am" is a good choice for the first single. Go in a similar direction "Get of my back", a short and crisp number for the listening pleasure trips and "I will always return" & "This Is Where I Belong", which can be described more as different variations of a song (and the former is the better). Under the skin go Finally, the melodic "Brothers Under the Sun" and "Do not Let Go", an exciting duet by Adams and his Canadian colleague Sarah McLachlan, which as a possible further decoupling has ausichtsreiche chances of a high chart position.
The rest of the songs is limited to either instrumental tracks of rooms (with short vocal performances) or Movie Remixes of Adams-pieces. The number of really independent songs ranked depending on personal opinion from 6 to 8, which, although very little is displayed for an album, but considered to be "short-EP" for Adams fans a sufficient dose on new material until the release of the next studio represents the album.
