Ears fodder for Melodic Metal fans

In the Melodic Metals sector, the Italian label Frontiers has pretty much set well to the forefront in recent years. This may be because you have a whole range of top notch artists this scene offered a home, as almost no bands like Whitesnake, Pink Cream 69 and others wanted a small factor of success do well but also the almost innumerable project bands from which publish their albums on Frontiers. Admittedly, because not everything that glitters is gold.

At latest project from the house Frontiers Magnus Karlsson's Freefall need to worry about the quality of the Mucke not too worried. Magnus Karlsson has been in bands like Place Vendome, Sinner and Allen / landing proved that he is to write good songs in a position. The singers were also not spared by the way. David Readman (Pink Cream 69), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Russell Allen, Mark Boal (Yngwie Malmsteen) and a few other reputable singers are on board. Magnus Karlsson's Freefall moves on the eponymous album on safe ground. The Swede has a few melodies conjured out of his sleeve, which run so loose in the ear, like a cold beer down his throat. The singers give the songs their own touch of course. A Russell Allen will always identify among many other voices, he also proves right in the strong first song on the album. Freefall is typical Scandinavian Power Metal. Although Us Against The World does not sound principle by Pink Cream 69, but of course pushes singers Readman the song clearly in the corner of his actual band.

Mark Boal I liked already not as a singer in Yngwie Malmsteen, which does not change with this album. Our Time Has Come sounds a little bland. Quite different sounds because even the fast uptempo number Higher, which has been sung by Ralf Scheepers!
