Apart from a slightly blurred configuration (but not impossible if we document a little before embarking) and a very long formatting period (approximately 5 hours to 3TB in RAID-1), daily use of the network device with absolute ease. In Windows, the reader is used as a standard hard drive via File Explorer. If you use it on a wired home network (RJ45) 10/100/1000 in the rate of read transfers as writing are excellent (Lect. @ 129Mo / s Writes. @ 103Mo / s). I have not personally tested, but I've seen on several forums that these rates are much higher in RAID-0.
In DLNA, with a compatible HDTV, a PS3, or other apparatus adding this function to your TV, exploring your records movies / music / pictures, is done with a time more than acceptable loads. The heaviest videos suffer no jumps or other slowdowns. A film of 2 hours to MKV 1080p 8GB starts in less than 3 seconds and will be read without any interruption.
But be careful, watch a movie in DLNA for a copy divides by 5 transfer rates, probably to prioritize stability DLNA streams. It is enough to know not to suffer too long time copies.
In short, a great product that I recommend, discreet in size, with its extremely low noise and consumption. Prefer a wired network use. Wi-fi, transfer speeds are not great, just enough to watch a divx on his phone or its Android tablet.
