4 years after their last studio album The Wheel Of Time "Sandra responds with her latest work The Art Of Love" back. The special feature, it is the first album that she recorded without her husband Michael Cretu. Producer this time was Jens Gad, a friend of the family Cretu, who has already worked on the last two albums Sandra. This new album by Sandra wants to show that she has matured and above all versatile. The album is OK! but a skin, at least me, not totally off the stool. To write this review I had the CD to listen to 3 times as many of the songs seem very trivial and heavy, and the lighter at Sandra's voice. It is missing here somehow that little something that I always liked about the older Sandra albums. Ease !!! On this disc one expects a mixture of chanting & Chill Out ("What D'Ya Think Of Me"), pop music ("The Way I'Am" What's Left To Say ") and sentimental ballads (" The Art Of Love "" Put Your Arms Around Me "and the new version of Dj Bobo classic" Love Is The Price "of course, in a duet with Sandra). What Is In About Me" bewitched by guitar and his gentle Sommerliche Grove. Just a perfect campfire feeling. In "Dear God ... If You Exist" and "All You Zombies" Sandra is supported by a children's choir, which consists among other things of her two sons Nikita and Sebastian. Conclusion: fans will get their money's worth. Sandra still manages not to win new fans because of this album OK! but just is not world-class, such as Madonna's Confessions On A Dancefloor "Sandra makes sound nice music, but she has not the talent repeatedly to invent credible new And as a previous speaker has already said:.. leads this music not present Charts , fills no stadiums, Sandra as a person does not provide stories for Teen Press á la BRAVO more ".
The cover is very erotic and matches Sandra. Maybe it but could have been even a bit more discreet. Now we have to wait and see if the CD will be a success and follow much more singles?
