This book is a little disorienting at first. It does not match any code to which one is accustomed. At the border between documentary, fiction and autobiography, he recounts the life of a mathematician not like the others: Cédric Villani. It closely follows the world until his rise to the obtaining of the Fields Medal. We do not understand the technical terms, but it does not matter it does not detract from its charm, this book is not for extension: it's just a mathematician who shared a piece of their everyday lives.
