Looking for a cheap mechanical keyboard I have looked at many different. Most of them are, unfortunately, either a) for computer games intended or b) extravagant and both variants unfortunately usually incredibly expensive. But I was looking for a relatively simple keypad without a lot of additional buttons or a particularly colorful style. With the G80-3000 LSDCE you can probably make as little wrong.
The keyboard is relatively unadorned in a brown cardboard box and has in fact no extra keys. The layout is but otherwise complete and "normal", ie including the Windows and Menu keys, the numeric keypad and without unexpected shifts the keys elsewhere. The keyboard is also relatively heavy (compared to my previous Logitech, which often read criticisms, the keyboard would be too easy and might I can not share, therefore, be moved on the desk at all, the thing weighs almost a kilo Processing acts in. Indeed, not absolute over-high, but now also not particularly cheap. I turn the keyboard around rarely, so I do not even really matter how rigid the thing is what is on my desk.
The buttons are marked by laser: first a depression is hineingelasert, then there poured paint into it. Although this may not abknibbeln sticker and make the keys unreadable, it has however at all (!) Key then small elevations and depressions that can be felt with the fingertips. But unfortunately the same time, the absence of special surveys on F and J, with which one could determine whether you have the fingers on the right keys. Together, these properties are unfortunately a little inconvenient for blind tip end prolific writer.
The stop is very pleasant, you need a lot of medium-strength, obtained strong haptic feedback per keystroke, to say nothing of the high volume of the key. In order to be reckoned with in the "MX Blue" switches, which is exactly the property. I personally like that, in larger offices, in the living room with your partner or so that may well be a disturbing noise backdrop. But this is now explicitly no downside, you have to just decide before buying.
All in all I am very satisfied with the keyboard. You could of course again be somewhat more workable and not have the annoying problem with the lack of orienteering points on F and J, then it would be 5 star. Who has no problem with the noise of a mechanical keyboard and do not want to spend too much money, this is the place.
