Commissioning:
Sony uses the normal (Mini) SIM card format!
After inserting the SIM card and the battery, the smartphone runs for the first time high at the customer and start a setup wizard.
A registration at Google is only necessary if Google services such as: are for downloading new apps, desired.
Even without Google application can make calls with your phone or send SMS.
The Setup Wizard can be called at any time later.
The firmware is out of date on the supplied smart phone. More on that later.
Test:
The Android 4.0.4 OS is going very well. The few stuttering are not frequent, nor particularly bad.
Making calls is excellent. The voice quality is impeccable. The battery allows a long standby time and talk time.
The camera is simply scrap. Compared to the camera, admittedly much more expensive iPhone 5, the images are
just garbage. Shooting under artificial light or low light are not even good average.
In wireless smartphone makes a surprisingly good figure. Everything works fine and quite fast.
Write to Tap / SMS rotating the best smartphone to landscape. I've never typed so quickly with a phone SMS.
The Android makes for a couple of hours a lot of fun and I'm starting to understand the enthusiasm for smartphones.
I must confess that this is my first smartphone, but I wanted to spend no 900 euros for a Designer Apple however.
Firmware Update:
Only works on the Sony page if you also has a 32-bit Java Runtime Engine installed.
In addition, PC Companion must be installed.
The firmware update is menu-driven and there is every step well described. Nevertheless, the procedure takes a long time and
it must be installed on the home PC two software packages. 64-bit browser and JRE are not supported.
After the firmware update, I could not notice any performance improvement, however, are absent in the Display Settings
a few menu items. The one has apparently removed so that the phone can not be verkonfiguiert.
My Comments:
Very good
++ Good voice quality
++ Works just fine, who knows what wants Faster, must engage much deeper into their pockets
++ Excellent value for money
++ Super Display
++ Excellent functioning Touchscreen
Good
+ Android 4.0.4 knows how to inspire. Apparently Sony will provide an update on Jelly Bean available.
+ Good weight and size. Fits at least optimally with me and is not too big.
+ Possibility of extension to a microSD card. I use a Samsung Class10 16GB card.
Neutral
o Firmware Update Although well described on the Sony site, but tedious and annoying.
Less Well
- Position the camera too close to your fingers when making calls or turn on / off. Therefore, the lens is constantly smeared.
- In the position on the back of the speaker is covered by the rubber backing and the Klingeton very subdued.
- No evidence of verschindende functions in firmware update, such as: No off of transition effects for screen settings more after the update.
- Poor Kamara and video function, but I did not care and I knew before.
- Improvement Rev. SAR value
Conclusion:
Very good, yet affordable smartphone.
Who needs an iPhone and instead wants to enter into the world of Android smartphones, found in the Sony an excellent
Phone with smartphone features. Whoever is not with pictures / videos but to call the smartphone and write SMS needs,
has a very hot candidate here. For me an absolute buy recommendation. After prices tumble date, should be accessed,
if you do not want much more money to spend / can.
