Glen Cooper found a pretty little used ultimately niche; one of the fantastic mid esoteric novel, half historical. His technique is quite proven that several times narrated in parallel and intersect. The idea of the existence of hidden "lemurs" is clever and seductive. Little we accept without hesitation dive in the universe Cooper, the book is nice, well maintained suspense and a few surprises. We never get bored. Well documented but without excess, however the translation is a bit painful on certain passages. The outcome, of course, it's a bit the problem of what kind of novel. The subject is so bright that it can not keep its promises. A slight frustration inevitable comes on the last third without compromising the slight pleasure of reading. To my knowledge, the prophecy of the popes is the fourth novel translated into french Cooper. The Book of the Dead and The book of souls are more successful but this one leaves me faithful to the author.
