Let me mention that the cable acts processed sound per se, just as you would expect from Lindy products. Unfortunately, it really works in my specific case with one of my currently two USB 3.0 controller in SuperSpeed mode. It was on the PC, for which the cable was intended, because the USB ports on the back are 3, works data transmission to Corsair Voyager Slider CMFSL3 only with USB 2 typical almost 30 MB / s. On Notebook by Transcend ExpressCard (TS PNU3) everything works as if you the USB stick plugged directly into the card. - The joke is that this principle is the same (popular) Renesas controller chip in both cases.
This shows the current plight with USB 3.0 connections. It was from the USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum) does not specify exactly enough on which "stretches" between two controllers, signal attenuation of max. 20 dB can occur. So sometimes it works not. It could be in focus at the cable but it is here also. This will show the time to find out in my case. Since the cable its intended purpose, however misguided, is my judgment. Especially given the short length of only 0.5m, I would have expected that it works in general.
