Nothing stands in the night (Paperback)

Customer Review

And like tens dauteurs before me, I tried to describe my mother.
This is how Delphine de Vigan concluded the first chapter of his book.
His narrative alternates sides on his mother's family and those on the making of the novel. A family marked by tragedy and lomnipotence grandfather.
Nothing precludes the night. In the words of his son at the end of the book: Yes. Nobody can prevent a suicide.
For a biography, there is something happening (dIMPORTANT) to each chapter is not sennuie second.
This book is a touching work, captivating, enthralling.
