I have the phone the connected via an adapter to a Nokia mobile phone and heard across, unfortunately it sounds from the first note quite dull, for comparison, I connected the earphones of the Sony Ericsson HPM-70 that are not so bassy and have clearer highs.
As 3. I have the Koss The Plug connected in a modified version (this rubber go so quickly broken parts, inexpensive earplugs do the rest;)) Again, much clearer treble than Samsung and a little crisper bass than Sony's.
With language I did not try it, but I will I use as far as possible not just in comparison to Koss, which is not really expensive, the Samsung truncates miserable.

My tip: The Samsung Cable (If you have a Samsung mobile phone used) in combination with other listeners (maybe the Sony's, which also have a fairly short connection cable)
