"The Reader's 6:27" appears as a nice philosophical tale full of tenderness and humanity. Of course, most of the situations and characters have something improbable and crazy, but that is all the more nebulous and more poetic. The author gives us little touches to the description of a gray world with little prospect of dull lives even desperate barely lit by the detachment or ordinary madness of the little people. Writing is nice, neat and minimalist wish to. A real treat. Didierlaurent reaches the level of the largest such Fournier, Garnier and Mingharelli. Do not miss this first novel for a first attempt is a real master stroke.
