Metronome: The history of France to the rhythm of the Paris Metro (Paperback)

Customer Review

A book very easy and pleasant to read, everyone, adults and teens. The art and the way to make us discover and understand the history of Paris and its region. The metro stations are just a pretext. But as soon as you leave the world of XXI century air to rush in one of the metropolitan mouths are immersed very fast in such a vivid story, so real ... We "see" people, our ancestors ( or not) more than we imagine them ,; it "sees" the Roman monuments, medieval, cathedrals, palaces, streets, life ... Every page, words allow us to live what the author describes. An excellent book that I have already recommended around me. When I go through Paris, I do not look at things the same way.
