After extensive research on the internet, however, we noticed the DC52 in the eye, so the successor to the DC 37 - and therefore the current "flagship" of Dyson. Only the (already very high for me) price were a real obstacle .... almost EUR 400 for a vacuum cleaner - after our last experience we were there very skeptical.
After a week of reflection and further research we decided on the purchase - and now, after two weeks of use, to have very satisfied bought it.
With this, the turbine nozzle, the Parquet, a narrow nozzle (for cracks or something) and Tangle-free mini turbine nozzle were (my God, what name ...).
First of all, the suction force: BOMB! Really sucks really well and does not let up ....
Now briefly to the nozzles:
- The turbine nozzle: There really get things moving, the thing rotates forward with any carbon fibers, but the fact is - it's clean (who cares?). We have in the house a few rugs of Hochflor about something dense padded up to a sisal carpet (in the basement) and even a very shallow (probably very cheap) laying carpet in a hallway between. Here is the turbine nozzle gold worth what I get sucked out of the shaggy defies description (and I actually thought really "dirty" if it were not .... also from our carpet in the bathroom what's there came out of hair ... ( and not because it is in our otherwise so dirty) In short, the turbo nozzle has proved itself to each of our carpets, also on the right short (and cheap:. are hooked D) to the example Holzbohrspäne downright we get away everything.
- The Parquet: Our first thought was how two (or even more) nozzles - we change this not very much .... However on smooth surfaces (the whole house is tiled) one is operated not as good with the turbo nozzle, corners are difficult to reach with her and it is something to do with this just to suck "complex" tiles. Thus, we have taken a heart and changed the nozzle on carpets Parquet can actually forgot where she brings nothing. However on smooth floors as just our tiles is a very simple, easy and enjoyable fast sucking possible. The ground floor, the upper floor and the staircase (marble) can be so quickly and thoroughly clean - because the nozzle change is worthwhile indeed.
- Upholstery: We have not yet used, the upholstery nozzle (long and slim) times to suck the corners in a cabinet - has worked well but that is now also not rocket science.
- Tangle-Free mini turbine nozzle: Looks funny, since also rotate two bristles (circular) - but I have not yet used this and therefore do not know if it's any good.
Since he became noticed in many reviews would be too small here a few words: to dust container. As I sucked the high-piled for the first time I had actually between three times to empty the tank (though I just did in a large bucket next to it (had brought the carpets in the basement to suck)) (!) - After all our House has now once completely sucked enough the receptacle loose from around the house to suck in a parade - so we empty the tank about once every 10 days. So far, by simply flicking and much "longer" dirt (was especially after the high tuft rugs so) I had to sometimes go along with a soft brush and wipe free the narrow space between Behältnerinnenwandung and the filter itself. I found not necessarily great (would the distance eg half a cm wide would the dirt still rather fall by itself) but also not bad.
In the design of the dust container but a few things would have been so much better feasible, for example, to get up from below to this approach (when opening) - that would not just ineinandergeklipptes plastic but an aluminum frame with thread on which the outer casing is sitting, one could simply unscrew and thus clean blue moon better - but I can if just really necessary, also with the soft brush along wipe. Another small gripe is that the cover of the dust collection container, unfortunately, only some can be swung through 90 ° - thus I have always the lid or the (plastic) damaging the hinges tapping some concern. If the lid 270 ° and could be in the open state, for example, on the outer shell itself somehow fixed cliffs so you could empty the thing probably a bit more comfortable and safer. This is now, however, whining at a high level.
Other:
-> The (alleged) short vacuum cleaner tube: In fact, it is shorter than I was used to from our old vacuum cleaner there - but I find working with it (at 185cm height) rather than uncomfortable - why Dyson, however, not easy with such a expensive device that Pipe has made the 10cm longer I do not understand.
-> Volume: Quieter than our old vacuum cleaner but, and above all with the turbine nozzle, a bit a noisemaker - which I did not so disturbing feel when I then I Vacuuming Vacuuming and nunmal not hear just music ...
Well, I find it more at the moment this is not a, we would buy it again at any time and are (so far) top satisfied.
