What to say about white pony that has not already been said?
This album is simply beautiful and I do not see what could blame him. We can listen for hours without tiring.
It is a shame to confine Deftones neo metal genre because not only, the group is far from producing a "neo metal sound" (often tasteless style with some exceptions) but in addition, this put many potential listeners to try the 'Deftones experience. I will surely make hair dresser on some heads but for me Deftones is just a great rock band as were deep purple or Led Zeppelin in their time.
Chino Moreno has a sublime voice that captivates and transports. Some tracks give chills (yet it is unusual to shiver on rock songs in general); it often starts like any anonymous piece but there each time an element (entry chino, terrible crazy riffs or battery) that assures us that we will listen a memorable title.
If you are still hesitant, let yourself be carried by listening to Digital Bath or Change. This album is a pearl, there is nothing to throw.
