A reference for IT executives

I am involved Information System (IS) with the status of steering assistance organization. Now I help my clients to diagnose the source of their problems.
2 decades of service and a single conclusion: the great changes of the IS going wrong (or not spend). We, technicians (at large) are trained in Cartesian and technical analysis that is linear; and even strengthening employees work management process, monitoring deadlines, absolute budget control, resistance to change threatens the necessary transformations.
So why and especially how to resolve these repeated experiments?

This book will give you the keys, but you certainly will miss practice and mastery of some of the tools. I advise you to take the help of a coach who will help you understand all to achieve success.

3 additional parts:
- First: the diagnosis of the evolution of computer science and a theoretical course of systemic analysis.
- Second: the history of the evolution of the role of IT in business tools, skills mismatches computer scientists in particular their leaders to fill. How changes have effected? Why it works well with the current methods? And finally the relational opening track.
- Last: the emphasis on relational procedures; the art of which decomposes into systemic organizational diagnostic tools, the need to communicate to make sense of the need to coordinate global transformations as individuals.

Although it dates from 2006 and that IT is changing very fast, this book is still relevant. Coupled with a management Master I found the overall vision that was lacking before. An essential reference for executives of IT, project managers and operational managers as tactical and strategic.
