I was not sure what to expect with this book and I confess that from the beginning I was pleasantly surprised. This is both a story about the trip and China but also of mystery and treasure hunt. We learn a lot about the traditions and Chinese history, on Feng Shui and Tai Chi, on the first Emperors and I loved all these parts there. After, I happened to find some lengths which are attributable to me for very long chapters, only 5 almost 500 pages! Surely we can ask the question of the likelihood also the protagonists rather easily unearthing treasures that everyone is looking for hundreds of years. This is not a heart stroke but a rewarding reading, certainly.
I do not want to say too much but at As the story, I wondered still on the decision to go unscrupulous plunder the tomb of an emperor. This is something that, in any case, and I'm not going to make friends among archaeologists, still bothers me. So, the end seemed to me to be the right solution to all this, although for me the best thing is to leave them where they are dead.
